Picked upwardly this book while looking for a distraction. Been smiling the whole mode through and so far. Surprise!...It's not about manipulation. The phychological principles are natural things we practise as humans and near of the time we don't fifty-fifty know information technology! The findings are based on inquiry and every 1 of them rings true every bit I picture my ain life experiences. It's all stuff about of us eventually learn, but I wish I'd had this book in loftier school and college. I'd have been less confused.Still chuckling my way through this book, like at the chapter entitled "How to Go a Stubborn Person to Alter His(Her) Mind virtually Annihilation." HaHaha! My hubby could use that one on me. What a hoot!

I recall picking up this volume and wondering at all the possibilities. I figured most people were likewise stupid to pick it upward, and gladly picked it out of the library. As I read through it, I noticed the book was poorly written for the well-nigh part (subjects aren't really fleshed out, and everything is followed past "all the time!") It was easy to overlook this, as I imagined soon my attractive neighbor would be all over me and my boss would be doing my behest.
When attempted in real life, it did not work (my boss idea I was weird, and my neighbor continued to ignore me.)
I give this volume a very angry one star. It is much worse when you are promised a hot neighbor, than to have never been promised at all.

Although, I become the intent....to purchase time to escape...I don't know that in the moment of such an incident, a woman who is trying to survive and escape will actually have the time to recollect about beingness nice to the suspect and play along to be able to escape. Humans have a flying, freeze, fight response automatically. At no point will whatever of us know exactly how nosotros will react in a traumatic effect, regardless of how much training you lot have. I'm sure there are women who can utilize this 'technique' successfully, but the writer makes it sound so like shooting fish in a barrel and that information technology volition be successful. I have to say, I did appreciate that he did emphasize such technique is for the purpose of escaping. However, he fails to mention considering whatever consequences of using the technique and so reporting to police force enforcement. ...more than
